eCommerce
- If you place an order on this website, the initial data will first pass through our trusted shopping cart service, WooCommerce by Automattic.
- That data then passes to PayPal to complete the transaction.
- We will keep a record in our WordPress database of your first name, last name, e-mail address, billing and shipping information, and IP address so we can contact you about your transaction in the future, if needed.
- PayPal will also keep a record of your contact details from your billing and shipping information for future reference to provide customer service and for our business records.
- We do not keep, or have access to, any private financial data used for transactions originating from this website.
Mailing List
- When you subscribe to our mailing list we collect your first name and your email address so that we can communicate with you.
- Your personal data will not only be stored in our website’s database but in MailChimp, the trusted service we use to send our email messages.
- You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking a link at the end of mailing list messages from us. Otherwise, we may retain your information in MailChimp indefinitely.
Comments
- When you leave a comment on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
- An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
- If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
- Some comments may be reviewed for spam by an automated system.
